My new show, Mr Popper's Penguins has it's first trailer is out. And I have a pretty sweet shot! It's a lot better than it was when we had to ship... but at least it made the trailer!

I'm back at Rhythm and Hues for another cute fluffy animal movie (hoo-ray!!!) and when I arrive, I find that once again, I have the chance to do figure class with Gnass again! He gets such great models, and these are 5s, done with micron pen. Here's a little taste, I'll post more later.

Some pieces from my sketchbook... a goth emo child with a glaive... she seemed to ask for some sort of oversized weapon. And a mermaid. Who's hair I want to redo, but it was from last spring during history class... and since I havent changed it yet I probably wont get around to it. But enjoy anyway!

Here is my Lil Bo Peep, and she is nearing completion. I say this because my teacher will rip it apart as soon as she gets back from vacation. I just started on that bonnet... so that and the hair is still really rough.. but she's coming along! I'm starting on Sheep this week I think.

I must admit, modeling has actually been sort of enjoyable. At least, doing it at my own pace has been. :) Here's Bo Peep thus far... I plan on having her semi-completed within the next week or so. Dont be scared that she doesn't have any feet or hands yet... They're coming soon.

Here is some exploration I did for first discovering the character of ... Joe.
My final "rendered" concept painting of the environment of the scene. I did like how this came out. :)However, his turnaround is sooo boring... Which is my fault. I was trying to keep it simple!
And then I have the turnaround for the turtle. Oh, how adorable he would have been in 3D.
